Today we will see Basics of Installing Salesforce Code Builder App (Beta) Version in our Developer org.

About Salesforce Code Builder :

Recently, Salesforce Code Builder is a web-based integrated development environment that has all the power and flexibility of Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Extensions for VS Code, and Salesforce CLI in your web browser. Currently it is in beta version available in AppExchange platform.

Procedure --

Step 01 :

Login into Salesforce AppExchange.

Step 02 :

Open https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N3u00000Qsdi5EAB

to install Code Builder (Beta version)

Step 03 :

Select for which users you want to install this app.

Step 04:

Login your salesforce org and search for "Code Builder" and open this app.

Step 05 :

Click on "Get Started"   >>   Click on "New Project"    >>   Give project name and select project type. I selected Standard Project Type.


Step 06 :

Click Connect a Development Org Account or Connect to Sandbox Org Account as per your choice and login.

After successful login success window will be displayed.

Step 07 :

Give any Org Alias and click on launch.

Step 08 :

After clicking on Launch you will see screen like these.
